Baeckhoffe is on the menu on Thursday nights and consists of pieces of lamb, beef and pork marinated in local wine and cooked "Lancashire hot-pot" style

Big, noisy and bustling with life. An excellent restaurant serving just about
anything you could desire. Noted for "tarte flambée", which is a local
pizza style pastry with onions, mushrooms, small bacon cubes and crème
frâiche.

Very "touristique " and on three levels by the side of the canal in "La Petite
France" . Worth while only if you get a table down below by the river. Nice
perhaps for lunch.
